4 tips to stop feeling guilty for having low energy

Updated: Apr 14, 2022

Who feels guilty about having low energy? 🙋‍♀️

It is such a problematic thought pattern and it's difficult to overcome. Trust me, I know! It is hard when you feel like you can't keep up with others in your life. You might even feel upset that others don't understand you, or more commonly you might feel angry at yourself for not being able to "get out of your comfort zone"

Can you relate?

Here are 4 steps that I use to stop feeling guilty about having low energy...

1. Learn about your sensitivity and how it's a real trait. You are not "too sensitive," "too much" or "broken".

2. Reframe your life in light of your emotional capacity and sensitivity. Research has proven that this has a huge positive impact on individuals and society.

3. Learn how to regulate your nervous system so you have the tools to go back to a state of calm when you are triggered.

4. Use sleep, meditation, movement, journaling and other tools to increase your nervous system capacity and emotional tolerance.

Let me know in the comments which tip will work best for you.
